1. What inspires you?
photography- I just have a need to photograph and document even the little things and more often than not i use my photography to inspire my design work, street style is also a big inspiration coming from Bristol everyone is very arty with an eclectic style and of course travel!

2. Why did you start your blog?

I wanted a place to document life in our first home , I see this blog as an extension of my many sketchbooks, mood boards and collections, I wanted a place to document the design of our first house from start to finish I see it as a place to hold photographs and document the pretty things I make and collect, inspirational things I see and memories I do not want to forget.

3. What new skill would you most like to learn? I would really like to do an interior design course, as studying textile design and having a huge interest in photography I love putting together themes and colour stories for interior ideas and think it would really interest me to take up an evening or internet interior course.

4. Favourite place to visit? Thailand was the place that inspired much of my first ASOS collection with its colourful sunsets and markets, New York is also one of my favourite places to visit but without having to travel far my day to day favourite place to visit is my family home, now that I have my own home I appreciate my family home much more and love to visit as it still feels very much like home. 

5. What do you hope to accomplish this year? 

I would love for us to finish renovating our home and to just enjoy living in it , continue to create and design new fashion , jewellery and textile collections and begin to plan a really pretty wedding!

6. What is your favourite piece of jewellery?
I am an avid jewellery collector and love vintage costume jewellery but my favourite piece has to be my engagement ring, it is literally the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and I have not stopped staring at it since George proposed in Disneyland Paris last year.

8. Summer or winter?

I love a mix of them both , I love winter for layering up knitwear and hot chocolates but I love summer for picnics and cocktails

9. Do you speak any other languages? I studied French, German and briefly Latin! but cannot speak any well!

10. What makes you happy? I am happiest when I am working in my home studio on new designs.

11. Favourite quote. 'if you can dream it, you can do it' I wish I would of listened to this quote sooner than I did but you really can do what ever you put your mind too, the only thing stopping you is you!
