Home ware wishlists are defiantly my favourite thing at the moment!
We have been working on our living room for quite some time, its needed lots of boring jobs done like plastering, flooring and painting, now we are getting to the good bit! the bit I love and the bit that makes the room a home.
I thought I would share with you a few of the things I have been lusting over at the moment before I show the living room complete. We have gone for tones of grey and white mixed with oak and bursts of colour which I cannot wait to show you.
1) One of the features within our living room is going to be some chunky oak shelves which I hope to fill with prints and pretty trinkets. I've had my eye on this glass dome for a while I'm not quiet sure what I would put under it yet but maybe I will freeze dry some flowers or place a little ornament under it to make it look extra special!
2) Everyone seems to love pineapples at the moment and I love them too! This Pineapple jar will look perfect on my trinket shelves and will add some metallic into the room.
3) I Have just ordered the sofa and its in a dark grey colour with wooden legs, I want to add lots of different textures and the perfect way to do this is through the furnishings so this grey knitted cushion will look great amongst the others. I may even give making one myself a go!
4) This Marled cushion will help tie in the grey tones within the room also adding another texture to the sofa.
5) A Turquoise velvet cushion as a pop of colour! and as you know I love a bit of turquoise.
6) Silver scented candle because you can never have enough candles and this one will add more metallic and a pretty scent to the room!
7) I thought this Metal Basket would be good for storing magazines in and would add a little industrial feel to the room.
8) This Silver box will look good on top of the little DIY side table I am working on to store sweets or just to look pretty and it is super cheap!
9) Another glass dome because I cant decide between this one and the larger size!
10) A Botanical print table runner! We are making an oak dinner table with benches with will go in the living room to create a dinning area and I think a little table runner would be the perfect addition as It will still allow the beautiful oak top to be on show but add a little detail to the table. This is another accessory which I may end up DIY-ing as I can use my own prints :)
