Hannahs no bake oreo cheesecake

One of my favourite gal pals Hannah made this cheesecake and I couldn't stop thinking about it! This is how it is made -

Base
- 3 Packets oreo biscuits
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp caster sugar

Topping
- 450grams softened cream cheese
- 450 grams of whipping cream
- 1 cup of caster sugar

- Firstly crush the oreos and mix in the melted butter and sugar, allow to set in fridge for 30mins
- Beat cream cheese and sugar
- Whip cream then blend in the cream cheese and sugar to create stiff peaks!
- Leave in fridge for 4 hours.

Now is that the best cheesecake you have ever tasted?!

Upping my Fruit Game - Smoothie Maker

I decided it was about time I focused on my health and eating more fruit!
I have never been one for breakfast and hearing that it is the most important meal of the day over and over I felt it was time I tried something! So I figured a smoothie would be the best way for me to get lots of nutrients and most of my five a day in one drink! Without actually having to have a large breakfast at 7am Blurrrghhh.
So when I saw the breville blend active  for under £30 I thought I may as well give it a go. I have  used it for about three weeks every morning and found its giving me much more energy and a good way to start my day.

I've tried a few different recipes and found I can pack a lot more fruit into just one drink than I could if I ate it.
what you will need for my favourite smoothie-
- Handful of frozen or fresh blueberries
-Three table spoons of yogurt (natural or flavoured)
- Half a banana
- Handful of strawberries
- Handful of frozen mango
- Couple of grapes
- Handful of mixed frozen berries
- Splash of water or forest fruit juice

TA DA!

what is really good about this one is you can blend the ingredients in the cup you drink from so I usually make two the night before and George and I take them to work, or on a weekend I like to pour them into cute glass jars which makes them super instagramable!

If you guys have any smoothie recipes I would love to hear them! :) I've heard you can add oats to make them more filling?

Kitchen DIY

I really wanted the kitchen to have an eclectic mix of different decorative glassware and mugs showcased in open shelving and storage, which we will get around to once we have finished the lounge! These little shelves were already here when we moved in so I thought I could utilise them before we get started on the kitchen with pretty glasses I have been collecting but really wanted an eye-catching quirky centre piece.
Then I saw these cardboard letters on eBay for super cheap!
All I did was use my trusty spray paint this time one with a metallic metal effect to make the cardboard letters appear much more expensive and eye-catching.
I think once the kitchen is done I would like these hung vertical on the central wall so they are the first thing you see when you come over for dinner!

Hope you like this quick little idea!
I would love to see any decorative slogan DIYs you have :)
